This is my first revision. I really like it, but I lost the scale of the big birdy. So I have to work on that. The type at the bottom needs some work also.

Creative Poster of Architects

I just listed this 11x17 poster print on www.PrintModern.com. I love architecture so this is one of my favorite prints that I designed. I listed all my favorite architect below in a "falling water" pattern, to represent my favortite home ever, Frank Lloyd Wright's falling water home.

This is my first design layout for my book cover. We are only allowed to use 3 colors, I like how I am using the white of the paper as my 4th color. The illustration of the bird is the same birdy illustration that is for sell on www.PrintModern.com, just different colors.

My 2 idea boards, I am not sure which direction I should take. Well, tomorrow I will upload my first idea. The finish flat size is 8 1/2x11. So I am thinking less is more, my layout is going to be very clean and modern, It needs to be a clear message.

Ok, I designed this poster (11x17) in December of 2007. It was for extra credit in my history class. The poster was suppose to honor Martin Luther King Jr. somehow. Without me knowing, my professor entered this poster in a campus wide contest. Come to find out this poster is in the top 3! So I have to go to this luncheon tomorrow and collect my award and find out if I won anything. It took me like 30 minutes to design this in illustrator, 10 minutes for the little people, and 20 minutes for me to find a typeface I like.

My First Time

In honor of my first post ever on a blog, I thought I would show the first print I ever sold online. I sold this print (11x17) on ebay about 4 months ago. Now this print is available for sale on www.PrintModern.com.

This blog will keep you update on my design process of prints for www.PrintModern.com, my projects for school, and my side graphic design projects. Thats plenty to keep up with, so stay tuned.
